What is D*ASH???
D*ASH is for two lovely women who had a connection to our agency. (Denise B. and Ashley G.)
Both of these women lost their lives to Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence. Losing them made our agency push harder to be able to save millions of women who are facing challenges with Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence, so we created the D*ASH to fund a safe house for women in need.
Please join us on Saturday. April 6th, 2024 from 8AM to 1PM to support the cause, and enjoy family, fun, food, and festivities.
WHY ARE WE WALKING? We are walking to bring awareness of Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence, which are two topics that are having a huge impact in our communities.
SEXUAL ASSAULT & DOMESTIC VIOLENCE Every 2 minutes a woman or girl is sexually assaulted, and every 9 seconds a woman is physically abused by an intimate partner. These numbers are alarming, and therefore we need to educate people and let them know there is help and resources to assist them.

Our Women Empowerment Program is desperately trying to secure “Ashley’s Safe House” for women and children who become homeless as a result of violence. Until they are able to enter back into society safely, we want to help eliminate barriers. It is a proven fact that women often stay in these unhealthy situations because they don’t have a safe place for them & their children to go.
There will be Facts, Festivities, Food and Fun at the FINISH LINE !!
